Position Summary:
The Leasing Coordinator will facilitate the lease and direct marketing functions for the Atlanta office. The position will work in partnership with third party administrators and internal departments to ensure lease accounting processes are accurately and timely administered. This position directly supports the Atlanta-based Regional Market Representatives.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide support and assistance for all leasing related activities
  • Responsible for the reporting and implementation of marketing efforts, in coordination with Regional Marketing Representatives and respective third party representatives
  • LaserFiche maintenance for leasing section (i.e. keep site plans updated with current vacancies; maintain commission and listing agreements by market, etc)
  • Responsibilities relative to the Lease Process include:
  • Drafting term sheets to facilitate the preparation of leases and amendments and coordinating with Regional Market Representative, DCT Legal Counsel and Regional Analyst
  • Creating lease files for new tenants
  • Facilitate completion of the financial analysis (Lease Analyzer) in coordination with the Regional Market Representative and the Regional Financial Analyst
  • Compiling lease applications of potential tenants including research on credit and payment history
  • Jointly work with Property Management on Lease file maintenance
  • Process and download offering memorandums for potential acquisition opportunities
  • Provide other administrative support as needed to support the individual and company needs
  • Utilize Google Earth for asset location information
  • Update and monitor key reports in various software packages of data through MRI/Resolve, LaserFiche, Datashare, etc.
  • Communicate leasing information accurately and anticipate necessity to work across company departments
  • Partner with Property Management to assist in effective transition and operation of the properties

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
An Associates degree is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Knowledge of lease administration in the real estate industry required. Minimum of 5 years related work experience required. Ability to be an assertive, self-motivated, team-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders required. Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking with an expert knowledge of Word, Excel, ACCESS, MRI, Datashare, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe and the Internet required. Ability to be articulate, organized, conscientious, dependable, polished and comfortable in a fast paced environment required. Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships with team members required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and ensure accuracy of work required.
