BIO:

As a Vice President, Regional Director, Art Barkley is responsible for DCT Industrial’s operational performance in the Dallas, Indianapolis, San Antonio, and Mexico regions. Based in Dallas, Mr. Barkley focuses on identifying growth opportunities for that target investment market. Earlier in his career, Mr. Barkley helped establish DCT’s business platform in Mexico and opened the Dallas office, where he handled all leasing activities for a ten-city region.

Mr. Barkley brings 15 years of real estate experience, primarily in the industrial sector, to our team. Before joining DCT, Mr. Barkley worked for ProLogis, a global industrial Real Estate Investment Trust. While there, he served as Vice President and Market Officer and handled the day-to-day operations for the Kansas City, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City markets. Prior to that, Mr. Barkley worked for Continental Airlines, managing the company’s on-airport and off-airport real estate interests in the United States.

Mr. Barkley received his MBA from Rice University and his degree from Whitman College.
