BIO:

As a Regional Vice President, Bill Chester is responsible for managing DCT Industrial’s Columbus and Louisville regions.

Before joining DCT in 2009, Mr. Chester was the Real Estate Director for Opus North Corporation, where he was responsible for starting their Cincinnati office. He also oversaw new speculative development, leasing, land acquisitions, and build-to-suit projects for their Cincinnati and Louisville markets. Mr. Chester also worked for Duke Realty Corporation as their Senior Industrial Leasing Representative, where he was responsible for the leasing of the Cincinnati industrial portfolio (approximately 10M square feet), build-to-suit projects, and land acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Chester worked as a Developer for the Miller-Valentine Group where he was responsible for the development of speculative office and industrial projects, build-to-suit projects, and land acquisitions.

Mr. Chester is a past President of the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of NAIOP and is an active member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable. He received both his M.B.A. and his B.A. in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
